Hello, and thank you for your interest in my work! Welcome to my online galleries, featuring one-of-a-kind images of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore on Lake Superior, Wisconsin. I've built a deep and unique body of work over many years while adventuring and exploring the Apostles. Here you'll find exclusive content showcasing the incredible natural features that abound in the Apostles, all captured in the best and most dramatic light and conditions.
From a very young age I was driven to be outside, adventuring and exploring wild places. Growing up in northern Minnesota near the headwaters of the Mississippi River, the opportunities were endless. All that time spent outdoors made an indelible impression; one that has shaped me as a person and lasted a lifetime.
For the past 30 years I’ve been fortunate to call the south shore of Lake Superior in Wisconsin "home". And here in my backyard near the Bayfield peninsula are the famed Apostle Islands. I have a long and well-documented love affair with these islands. It is a landscape that has deeply imprinted on me; a wilderness I explore in all seasons, and where I go to find balance and inspiration.
