WHY THE APOSTLE ISLANDS?

You'll find some of the most striking and beautiful scenery in all of the Midwest tucked away in the archipelago that makes up the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore on Lake Superior in Wisconsin. From crystal clear emerald green water, unbelievably rugged sea caves that have been carved out over the millennia, delicate sandstone arches and endless sandy beaches, the Apostles have it all in abundance.

Michael has spent years seeking out the most spectacular and unique natural features to be found in the Apostles, and then meticulously photographing them in the best and most dramatic light and conditions. The resulting fine art photographs are unlike anything else you'll find - truly distinctive, collectible pieces.
